OVERVIEW
Reporting to the CEO, the Director, Human Resources is the architect of the
organization’s people strategy. This role owns the full HR spectrum, from talent and
culture to compensation and performance, ensuring the business has the people,
structure, and environment to win. You’re not just running HR. You’re shaping how the organization grows, performs, and thrives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Define and drive the people strategy in lockstep with business goals
- Act as a strategic partner and advisor to the CEO and leadership team
- Attract, build, and retain high-performing talent across the organization
- Develop the next generation of leaders through innovative and impactful programs
- Lead compensation, benefits, and total rewards with a competitive edge
- Implement and evolve a performance management system including job design, KPIs, and performance-based compensation
- Strengthen culture, engagement, and organizational effectiveness
- Lead change management initiatives during growth and transformation
- Oversee employee relations with sound judgment and confidence
- Ensure compliance while enabling business agility
- Manage WSIB/WCB programs, including claims oversight and reporting
- Lead and enhance the Health & Safety program
- Build and lead a high-impact HR team

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Degree in HR, Business, or related field (Master’s is a plus)

- CHRP/CHRL or equivalent preferred
- 10+ years of progressive HR experience, including senior leadership roles
- Strong knowledge of employment law and modern HR practices
- Proven track record in building teams, culture, and performance
- Exceptional communicator who can influence at every level
- Strong technical proficiency with HR systems and tools
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
- $125,000 - $140,000 per year
